Q: Is the potted plants all one piece, or do you have to put together?
A: It is all in one piece – no assembly required. We just added it to a planter. It is all one piece – you just pull it out of the box and fluff it up the way you want it. You know, the big reason why people choose fake potted plants as furniture decorations is precisely because these items do not require us to spend energy or extra money to plant and fertilize.
Shape and appearance concerns
Q1：Can you bend or reshape the tree trunk and branches?
A1：The trunk cannot be reshaped. The branches can be bent to a limited degree. But if you go too far or with too much force they will break off. Rather than trying to do it all at once, we recommend working on the leaf or branch two or three times and gradually getting the shape you want. If your plant has wrinkled silky leaves or flowers, blowing air in a cool setting to help the creases flatten. Remember not to blow heat all over the same area, choose a lower temperature and keep the heat air flowing.
Q2: My apartment is small so this would be an oft-viewed centerpiece. Upon very close inspection, how real does it look in person?
A2：On close inspection any faux plants would not look real. All we can do is pursue the details. Each plant uses fresh PE as raw material, the mold is strictly in accordance with the real plant leaves, and the stems and leaves are distinct. UV protection tested, don’t worry about fading. As long as no one touches it you should be ok.
Q1: What does “silk” refer to? Are the leaves made of silk or the real kind of plants has the word “silk” in it?
A1: This is an artificial plant, not a natural one. Please note, the definition of the world “silk” in the title or description. If used, does not mean the item is made out of silk. Silk flowers, silk plants & silk trees were named this over a hundred years ago when they were named this over a hundred years ago when they were originally sewn with silk. While we still call them as “silk”, the current manufacturing methods use synthetic fibers and high-tech processes to create botanically accurate, realistic reproductions.
Q1: I want to replace a tree in my bedroom. Does these artificial plants in pots emit a strong odor? It would be near our bed.
A1: No, the raw materials are safe, and it is safe to make pure products. You will find that our products have no taste. If you are concerned, you can keep them in a ventilated place for a few days. More importantly, simulated plants do not require fertilization to receive nutrients. The smell of fertilizing indoor plants should be a headache for everyone. But you don’t have to worry about the smell if you choose faux plants.
Q1: What is in the pot? Is it filled with dirt/stone?
A1: It is in a small pot with faux looking hard dirt. You will want to put it in something bigger. It looks nice. It is a stone/cement looking base so it gives strength and weight to the plant.
Q10: Are they packed well for shipping? Do they each come in their own box?
A10: Packed together, one box. We will check carefully before shipment to ensure that the packaging is intact and prevent the goods from being damaged in transit.
Q1: Can I take this out of the pot it comes in to fit it into a oddly shaped pot?
A11: We do not recommend removing the tree from the pot. The tree is held together with plaster/cement in the pot. Removing the pot would cause the plaster/cement to crack or break creating a huge mess and you wIll be left with a couple of loose trunks.
Q2: Can I put this in my bedroom?
A2: Sure. As mentioned in our question above, our artificial pots and artificial trees are made of safe materials and will not produce substances that are harmful to human body. They are all fire-proof. So feel free to put them in your bedroom.
Q3: Could you use this outdoor?
A3: Yes. Our products are all tested for UV protection. Don’t worry about fading due to direct sunlight in a short time when you put it outdoors. The base is twice as heavy, and the trunks are more substantial in comparison to other trees and they can definitely withstand outdoors. Of course, they can last for a longer time if you place them in a covered, protected area.
Q4: Is the tree stable enough to hang light ornaments on it?
A4: Yes, you hung a single strand of Christmas lights on them. This tree is well made and sturdy.
Q5: Can this be decorated for Christmas?
A5: Yes, but we suggest not use any lights that get too hot to touch. It is a soft plastic tree. LED’s should be fine.
Q1: Do the leaves and/or branches fall off?
A1: No, our customers bought plastic tree for several months and they haven’t had a leaf to fall yet. It’s still very pretty and life like.
Q2: How well do they hold up against weather and high winds？
A2：They held up great! No discoloration! For small fake plants in pots you can fill several river rocks around it to make it stable in the winds. You will enjoy them blowing in the wind!
Q1: What is best way to clean these?
A1: Except for a damp cloth or feather duster, web cloth or brushes (Of course, this may send dust flying so you can also use a hand vacuum), you can also hose it off and it just shines. Unlike real plants, it is easy to take care of.
Q1: I want to trim the messy branches. How can I cut it? Is it possible?
A1: Some scissors capable of snipping small wire. But you needn’t trim them at all. Remember all trees are not perfectly shaped and that is what makes it look natural.
Q2: Does it comes unassembled like a Christmas tree, or is it one piece?
A2: No assembly required.
Q3: How do we put the leaves back on when they start falling off?
A3: If it is just an individual leaf you could put either white PVA glue on the line of the leaf and re-attach it they way. If a branch comes off, the leaves are silk material and are attached to branches. Each branch has been placed in a drilled hole and the glued. If you can find the hole easily then just put it back in. If you can add some glue then that will help even more.
